Biography
Charlot
Charlot Anne Barbara Terhaar sive Droste (1976) graduated from the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague in 2002. In 2003 she was given the opportunity to permanently display her work in a gallery in Breukelen. Today her work can be seen in her studio at Portengen near Kockengen. Since 2006, Charlot has participated in various national and international exhibitions and art fairs. Her work is included in various private and business collections, including Waterschap Amstel, Gooi and Vecht in Amsterdam. During the International Art Fair (IAF) in Rotterdam she received a 'Best Artist Award.' In 2023, Charlot was selected to participate in the 'ArtistMeeting' in Grand Casino in Knokke.

Artists association
Since 2011, Charlot has been a member of the association of professional artists Kunstronde Vecht en Plassen. This is a platform for visual artists (and galleries) who live and/or work in the municipality of Sichtse Vecht or Wijdemeren. The most important event that the association organizes annually is 'the Art Tour', which takes place in the 3rd weekend of May, during which all members have an exhibition within a specific region around the Vecht and lakes.
